The Essenes are a Qumran sect and controlled the priesthood at the time of the Temple destruction by the priests themselves as Rome moved to destroy the heresy in 70AD. What this means is that they held all the knowledge housed within the Temple at the time destruction loomed, as such it was they who would remove and control the knowledge of the mystery schools. They were essentially celibates and aesthetics, preferring the solitary existence as a monastic priesthood. Two other priesthood’s, the Sadducees and the Pharisees had elders on the council, forming a trinity which together, were classed as the Aaronite Priests, each group claiming continuum from the antediluvian period, and more importantly, the secrets they held came not from Enoch born of Jared, the doctrines they held had origin in the works of Enoch son of Cain. It would be Cain’s bloodline pre-flood, that would work with the Nephilim to create the corruption of Atlantis, as such, when it comes to Gnosticism, we are dealing with the doctrines of the fallen angels.
This division can be seen in the House of Enoch which presents two crests, one of the eagle and one of the serpent, you will of course know this bunch by the term Phoenicians. Here we have two Hebrew tribes that did not go on to be a part of the Ten Tribes of Israel and certainly not of Judaism. They did however operate with the Tribe of Dan acting as ferry masters across the globe.
It is for the discerning student to recognise this twin aspect to scripture in order you can determine your own true foundation.
The Book of the Watchers
The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and righteous, who will be 2 living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed. And he took up his parable and said-Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is 3 for to come.
