The Jeffrey Epstein VI Foundation is a private foundation established in 2000 by New York financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Officially registered as J. Epstein VI Foundation, the “VI” stands for Virgin Islands, where the foundation is based and Epstein owned a private island. The foundation’s board includes Cecile de Jongh, wife of the former governor, John de Jongh.
In 2003, the foundation pledged $30 million to Harvard University to establish the Program for Evolutionary Dynamics, directed by Martin Nowak, a professor of mathematics and biology. The University received $6.5 million of this pledge. The foundation has also supported NEURO.tv, a video series featuring experts discussing topics related to the brain, and the OpenCog project, an open-source software initiative for Artificial intelligence.
Over the years, the Foundation has convened many of these scientists in conferences to discuss the consensus on fundamental science topics such as gravity, global threats to the Earth and language.
As a representative of the foundation, Epstein sat on the Mind, Brain and Behaviour Advisory Committee at Harvard University, and been involved in the Santa Fe Institute, the Theoretical Biology Initiative at the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton, and the Quantum Gravity Program at the University of Pennsylvania. Epstein also served on the Trilateral Commission and the Council on Foreign Relations.
The Jeffrey Epstein VI Foundation has in addition to supporting science research supports peace accords and initiatives. Donations included, Save Darfur Coalition, Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund, Friends of Israel Defense Forces, Philippe Costeau Foundation, the Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission.
The Jeffrey Epstein VI Foundation also established a fellowship fund at the Peace Institute to honour Richard Hooper, Senior advisor to the UN Under-Secretary-General for the Department of Political Affairs who was killed 2003 in the Canal Hotel bombing in Baghdad.
Epstein now supposedly dead continues to quietly distribute his wealth—including to the nonprofits of Deepak Chopra, Elton John and a doctor linked to President Trump—through a shadowy private foundation called “Gratitude America, Ltd. Gratitude America, Ltd. was launched in 2012 to back “organisations around the world that seek to celebrate the United States of America and the American Ideals,” the group stated in its application for tax-exempt status.
