Richard Nikolas Eijiro Graf Coudenhove-Kalergi (1894-1972), wife Ida Coudenhove-Kalergi and daughter, Erika Coudenhove-Kalergi.

He was backed by the finance Houses of Warburg and Rothschild.

Richard, wife Ida, and daughter Erika visited the USA twice :

Firstly in 1925: “In early 1924, we received a call from Baron Louis de Rothschild; one of his friends, Max Warburg from Hamburg, had read my book and wanted to get to know us. To my great surprise, Warburg spontaneously offered us 60,000 gold marks, to stimulate the movement over the first three years …. Max Warburg, who was one of the most distinguished and wisest men that I have ever come into contact with, had a principle of financing these movements. He remained sincerely interested in Pan-Europe for his entire life. Max Warburg arranged his 1925 trip to the United States to introduce me to Paul Warburg and financier Bernard Baruch.” https://www.big-lies.org/coudenhove-kalergi/

Also :
Count Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi, who founded the Pan European Union, was named after Richard Wagner, one of whose students was Gustav Mahler. Mahler’s studies with Wagner were funded by Baron Albert de Rothschild. Coudenhove-Kalergi’s father was a close friend of Theodor Herzl, founder of Zionism. http://loveforlife.com.au/node/7161

Listed on the Kalgeri travel documents as ‘friend’ they are going to join is Nicholas Murray Butler, Columbia University lecturer :

President of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and a recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. He became so well known and respected that The New York Times printed his Christmas greeting to the nation every year………. Butler’s academic and other achievements led Theodore Roosevelt to call him “Nicholas Miraculous.” In 1885, Butler studied in Paris and Berlin and became a lifelong friend of future Secretary of State Elihu Root. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicholas_Murray_Butler

It looks like corrections on all visas for the three Kalgeri’s trip to USA in 1940 have been made, from ‘transit,’ for ‘two months’ to ‘business,’ (‘pleasure’ for daughter Erika who accompanies her parents) for 6 months. All state on their travel documents that their previous trip to the United States in 1925/26 was to New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, etc. (However, travel documents for this 1925 trip to the USA have yet to be found online.)

Citizen diplomacy” by Ikeda
Ikeda initiated a series of dialogues with prominent political, cultural, and academic figures which he labeled “citizen diplomacy.” In 1970 he held a dialogue with Richard Nikolaus von Coudenhove-Kalergi centred on East-West issues and future directions the world could take.

Soka Gakkai invitation :
Coudenhove-Kalergi visited Japan again at the invitation of the Soka Gakkai in October 1970. During his stay, he and Daisaku Ikeda conducted a formal dialogue over the course of several days, a total of more than 12 hours of which was recorded for posterity. He also visited the campus of Soka University in Tokyo, which was under construction at that time.

(NB: Heinrich von Coudenhove-Kalergi, father of Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi, had studied Buddhism in Japan. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heinrich_von_Coudenhove-Kalergi )
One of the hallmarks of Ikeda’s peace philosophy is his commitment to dialogue….. The first notable dialogue of this kind was with the Austrian thinker Count Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi, in 1967, later published in Japanese under the title Civilization, East and West. http://www.daisakuikeda.org/main/profile/bio/bio-12.html

Coudenhove-Kalgeri and the Froebel connection :

Just as Julius Fröbel had written in his influential pro-European essay The Present European State System (1864), Coudenhove-Kalergi imagines a Russo-Turkish military threat and a U.S. economic and cultural threat. http://www.rmmla.org/ereview/59.2/articles/villanueva.asp
